History

It all begins with an idea. It was 1989 when Mr. Wolf made the decision to create a campground among the woods and natural wonders of Southeastern Ohio. With a hilltop overlooking the Muskingum River, a perfect summer climate, warm days and cool nights, and the fresh air of the countryside he started to build Wolfie’s Campground.

Dave Wolf founded Wolfie’s Campground in 19XX. Dave was working for his father’s family business…. He had a dream to build a campground. Through the support of the City of Zanesville, he was finally able to get the permitting he needed.….During the evenings and weekends for many year, the land was slowly cleared…
